Silverstripe

We provide development services for the SilverStripe Content Management System

New Zealand’s Silverstripe was the new Content Management System (CMS) on the block, launching its open source version 2.0 in 2007.

In 2013 a panel of industry experts chose Silverstripe as the CMS that underpins the all of New Zealand Government Common Web Platform (CWP).

Why use Silverstripe?

Silverstripe provides:

  • a flexible web application framework
  • a very user friendly administration area for content management, with features such as ‘drag and drop images’, a hierarchical folder based structure, and the usual standard editing functionality
  • default theming templates that are mobile-friendly and standards-compliant
  • good multi-lingual support, including Te Reo and 64 other languages
  • a developer community spanning 30 countries.

Signify loves to match the right CMS with the right customer. We like Silverstripe because it makes creating an elegant solution easy. We love how easy it is to use, so our non-technical content editors should be very interested.

We’ve built some fantastic sites in Silverstripe such as Service IQ, Landsar, and Skills Active to name a few. We currently look after more than 40 Silverstripe sites for customers, and have 16 Silverstripe developers.

Signify is a member of the New Zealand Government's Web Services Panel and the Digital Experience Professional Services catalogue on Marketplace. With a wealth of experience with the Common Web Platform we can help you choose and transition to a hosting platform that is appropriate for you.
