Mike Walczak
Mike's favourite pastime is developing mobile applications while occasionally spending time with his family. He has also recently pretended to be a rugby coach. He is also a brewing fanatic, and spends lots of time with his Micro brewery William Warn creating new brews and sampling his wares.
Ben Sunko
Ben's hobbies are cooking, camping and building things. He works on maintaining his web based media library system and other computer tools as well as spending time working in the garrage on woodwork projects. A jack of all trades and master of none, any new skill picked up gets added to his arsenal.
Sam Garcia
Sam can't remember a time when she hasn't enjoyed drawing and would be content to waste the day, night and early morning away with a pad of paper and a set of pencils. Much like building software, she likes seeing things take shape from nothing at all and the process of refining and reforming her work.
Steve Piner
Steve has travelled to quite a few places over the years - the Americas, Asia, Europe. His favourite destination for now is Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands, where he enjoys scuba diving. The picture was taken in Niue.
Charles Ritchie
Charles has always enjoyed participating in any new activity, from golf to crochet, he has tried many an hobby. He particularly likes hunting and bush craft, having grown up with missionary parents this has been a large part of his life. To the chagrin of his partner and delight of his dog, Charles also enjoys incredibly smelly blue cheese, well actually any smelly cheese for that matter.
Avril Boswell
As a busy mother of 3 girls, Avril enjoys some quiet time reading books when she is not having fun out with her husband and kids. Avril enjoys travel but fitting this amongst a very full schedule it does not happen often. Avril also speaks Norwegian and spent a year in Norway.
Lani Field
Lani loves traveling, reading, and learning new things.
Mike O'Neil
All forms of cycling, mountain bike, road cycling, cyclocross and anything in between. It’s a good thing that Mike’s 10-year-old son is a keen mountain biker as well so there are often expeditions around the Wellington region and beyond to ride new and old trails.
Peggy Nobes
Peggy enjoyed travelling, in a pre-Covid world, and wonders when such things might be possible again. She also likes knitting (often making up her own patterns, with mixed results) and reading.
