A new site with a fresh and visually dynamic design
Skills Active wanted to replace their existing site that was outdated and not responsive to mobile screens. Search and navigation needed to be improved as well. The design brief was that the site should “capture the active culture, be funky rather than corporate, whilst still being professional, be graphically exciting to visit, dynamic and surprising.”
What we did
We built a new Silverstripe website for Skills Active. The new site provides better search functionality, and a new Information Architecture and Site Map to make navigation more intuitive for visitors.
We created a Visual Design for the site. A key feature of the design is the use of a video header in order to showcase a variety of skills areas in a short time and to inspire the audience. This helps visitors engage with the site by providing a dynamic experience.
